Illegal Betting Organization Dismantled in Silivri
Authorities from the Provincial Police Department Cyber Crimes Unit conducted an operation to reveal crime organizations related to illegal betting activities and apprehend suspects.
As a result of the technical and physical surveillance by the teams, it was determined that financial transactions of illegal betting sites and the establishment of panel systems were carried out in a villa in Silivri.
During the operation at the villa, 7 suspects were captured. Illegal firearms, 5 computers, 16 mobile phones, and 17 SIM cards were seized during the searches.
After the procedures at the police station, 4 of the suspects were arrested and 3 were released on judicial control conditions.
